I've learned that I hated Chemistry.

Not taking it next semester, that's sure.
Phys for engineers and Geology instead <3 Hopefully it'll be better.

Four bags (two school/laptop bags, two smaller ones)
TONS of manga (that's where most of the money went. Musta spent 100$+ on manga)

I went to library and rented a couple of like, Disney DVDs. (A few I wanted weren't there though; namely Nightmare b4 Xmas, Beauty and Beast, and Lady and Tramp) but I got like, Bambi II, Bug's Life, Tarzan, and like, Jungle Book.

I watched Bambi II and it's like, a typical sequel, with very VERY predictable plot but the songs weren't too bad and bambi's still pretty cute. I liked it :DD
Because at heart, Im still a kid and as long as it's animated by Disney, it'll be pretty cool. ^^ Although the new one's are losing caliber. The oldies are still wonderful <3<3<3<3<3

Everyone knows Arakawa Hiromu for FMA. And she's a pretty good mangaka. But I read her first work, a one-shot, and it's just omgAWESOME. Well, not that much, but I liked it :D
It's called Stray Dog. Hints of FMA can be seen in it -- unethical experiments and like, chimera-ish, as the story is about these Military Dogs, half-dog half-human, bound to their masters. It's good, almost predictable, but really cute.

Komi Naoshi is my favorite mangaka at the moment. Didn't write much, but I LOVE his one-shots. They are wonderful stories that are just <3
They are mostly about life in the future, with these super interesting premises and awesome characters.

My mom's coworker's son was diagnosed with leukemia and i was kind of inspired by that.
So yeah. It's kind of sad that he might be spending christmas in the hospital, so hopefully he'll recover soon~

“Hello… is this Misses Hollister’s speaking?”
“Yes… who is this?”
“This is Miss Wood, your daughter’s teacher.”
“Is everything alright? Has she been disrupting your class?”
“No, no… everything’s fine… I was just wondering if there was anything going on at home that I should know about…”
“At… home? What do you mean?”
“We’ve been conducting a lot of Holiday activities. Recently, I asked the students to draw, and then write out what they would like to have for Christmas. While all the other students had things such as toys, which was what I expected. However, all your daughter handed in was a hand drawn picture of her family.”
“W… could you tell me what she wrote about it?”
“She wrote that all she wanted was ‘Christmas with mom, dad, Theo, and me’…”
The mother let out a little sob.
“Is anything wrong, Misses?”
“Her… her brother, Theodore, was diagnosed with leukemia. He won’t be able to come home for Christmas.”
“My condolences… I wasn’t aware…”
“It’s okay. Cynthia’s taking it a bit hard… and… I’m sorry, but I left something in the oven.”
“Of course, Misses. I wish your son a healthy and swift recovery.”
Mrs. Hollister hung up the phone, letting another tear fall from her eye. She stood up and went up to her daughter’s room.
“Mommy, who was it?” she asked.
“You’re still awake, baby? Couldn’t sleep?”
“No… I miss Theodore, mommy… when is he coming back?”
“I don’t know, baby… I don’t know…”
“Why… why did god make him sick? Why? Why Theo? Why is god so unfair?”
“Don’t say that, Cindy. God loves us, and he loves Theo too.”
“But why…?”
“I don’t know. Just go to sleep, baby. Theodore is watching you, and he’s be angry that you’re still up.”
The little girl looked out the window. Snow was covering everything, dusting the houses with powdered sugar. The sky was clear and the moon shone brightly, the stars circling it.
“I miss you, Theo,” she said. “Come back soon…”
Cynthia soon fell asleep, clutching her little teddy bear. The mother turned on the nightlight on the stand and left the room. She went back to the living room, over to the fireplace where a picture stood on a mantle. The face of a little thirteen-year-old teen stared back at her with a smile. Underneath, the words ‘Theodore Hollister, 16/10/91 – 24/12/04’ was engraved on a little stand.
